of upper cast Brahmin {priestly}Community.First my parents
came to the Lord and although the atmosphere at home was
Christ centered, I was growing up without God and Gods fear.
All my friends were Hindus and because of my friends I felt Shy
and ashamed at the very mention of the name of Jesus as if He
was a God of the lower caste people. In my teens I moved with rough guys and local trouble shooters. Seeing them in action in fights on the Streets, roads- I wanted to be something special. During the above Period I somehow managed to
complete my mechanical engineering diploma and by the time I
came out of polytechnic I was an alcoholic. My lust to be
something special took me to the extreme step of practising
Witchcraft, Sorcery and Telepathy. For a long time I was
visiting library of Andhra University And was taking down notes,
diagrams to put this witchcraft into practice.
Every night fully drunk I used to call and
invite evil spirits {names of deities that are worshipped and stray Spirits} to come and listen to my commands and put them in action { I do this on the terrace of my house-the place where I sleep}. During this period I met with 2 major road accidents where 1}.in the first case I was thrown from Yezdi motor
cycle 20 ft. into the air and landed on my cheeks.There was no
injury on any part of my body except on my right cheek as if it
was sliced off. Actually my neck bone should have been broken
for that impact of falling from 20 ft. with head down and legs
up. Thus my life was saved Miraculously. I never prayed to any God
and willfully used to come home late to skip family prayer.
2}. In the second case I knocked against road dividers which was
with Iron grill from my Bullet motor-cycle on christmas eve. My entire right shoulder from shoulder to fore-arm was
disfigured crushed and flesh torn open as I was pressed due to
weight of vehicle and dragged against Iron spikes for about 30 ft. and thrown aside. I did not know then that the
devil/spirits that I used to call/invite were trying to destroy my
soul. I recovered very fast from all my major mishaps.
One day I happened to be at home and
then I noticed my mother and family members praising God
{theyPraise God all the time} and I was getting irritated so much
that I was able to notice it myself. I felt that Something
was wrong within me. I went of my own accord to a prayer
warrior by name Bro.Maranatha {a hindu convert} in the evening
and told him what I experienced that day. He told me to sit
and praise and while I was praising, he laid his hands and prayed for me.Immediately I felt light and free in my body. That night I did not sleep and I was
feeling emptiness inside. The next day I told Bro.Maranatha and
after counselling I received Jesus Christ as my personal
Saviour. From then on there is no turning back and God is
using me fulfilling His Word I am with you always, even unto
the end of the world.{Matt.28:20}. I thank the Lord for his
precious atoning blood shed for my sins and for the new life I have in Jesus. Six months later I was baptised by anointed
and spirit filled man of God pastor Prabhaker who spends much time in prayer. Isiah 61:1 became
reality to my life and in my life. The Spirit of the Lord God
is upon me;because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good
tidings unto the meek, he hath sent me To bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,and the opening
of the prison to them that are bound.
The goodness of the Lord that I
tasted I am sharing with others so that they also might come to the knowledge of Jesus as their saviour. Because of all the above I married very late in the year1996 January 8th at the age of 39. My wife is a Graduate teacher educated and
trained in Hindi Medium. She counsels people in distress,
introduces Jesus as the saviour among Hindus/muslim women , to
the poor in our societ. I and my wife are in the evangelical
ministry in a predominantly Hindu locality. Our Lord has been
helping and guiding us in many ways for the past decade. You may
be well aware that at present church in India is passing through a
testing time. For though I preach the gospel,I have nothing to
glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, We seek out your fullest
prayer support, AND your help

Because of my training and background in the church my life have been a wonderful success.
