National Scholarship Criteria

Scholarship Criteria
I. Applicant must have a high GPA (Grade Point Average i.e. graduating with a straight A; A-; or B+) from a four (4) year accredited high school.
II. Applicant must achieve a combined score of 1000 minimally on the SAT Aptitude Test, and categorically on the ACT or any other comparable required test.
III. Applicant must be applying to or attending a four-year College/University.
IV. Applicant must be a faithful and active member in your local Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas.
V. Applicant must be recommended by your District Elder and District Directress or Director of Religious Education.
VI. Application form and relative materials must be submitted and received by May 15 of current year.
VII. Applicant must fulfill the following additional requirements:
  1. List all Church, District, and Community Activities.
  2. List all leadership roles you held in your Church, District, and Community.
  3. List all Extracurricular Activities in which you participated.
  4. List all Academic Awards/Honors you have received.
  5. Submit a typed, double-spaced 300 word Essay on "How You Plan To Further Christian Education In The Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas", and be prepared to give an oral presentation before the committee.
