| The Seal of the Bishop |
| The purple outer ring of the Bishop's Seal represents royalty. The Bishop is the leader
of a royal priesthood. Traditionally, this color has been worn by Bishops of the Christian Church through the centuries.
The Shepherd's Staff is the symbol of the Bishop's leadership. Christ is the Head of the Church while the Bishop is the human head of the specific body of baptized believers in Christ. Christ is the Great Shepherd and the Bishop is the undershepherd of the flock. The Bishop is a leader of sheep; a very demanding task. The Holy Bible is the symbol of authority of the Bishop's leadership. It is the Bishop's authority to guide the flock of God in his care. The Bisble is our rule of conduct in faith and practice. The Bishop has the responsibility of upholding the Word of God and the Discipline of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas in spiritual and temporal affairs of the Church. In the center of the Bishop's Seal is the logo of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas. This symbol identifies our church. |
